「Between Mycelia ― Branching, Flow, Connection, Regeneration ―」

Concept
Mushrooms are but a fleeting form appearing above ground, while their true essence quietly spreads onward in unseen places.
Mycelium branches, overlaps, and slowly weaves the world anew through chance encounters.
I trace the traces of this growth, accepting uncontrollable movements and unexpected shifts, drawing “living flows” upon the plane.
What exists here is not a completed form, but a state of continuous connection in progress.
Amidst the mycelium, our own existence too quietly undulates.

Originally from Yunnan Province, China.
Using Yunnan’s nature and mushroom culture as a starting point, I create two-dimensional paintings that take the growth structure and random spread of mycelium as motifs.
Through forms born between control and chance, I explore the nature of life and relationships.
